Country Manager South Africa (m/f/d)
You proactively drive the digital expansion for Online studies at IU International University in South Africa.
You take responsibility for achieving targets in South Africa, define action plans and implement initiatives for achieving results.
You collect and analyze first-hand insights on different customer segments, communication channels and the competitive environment and derive opportunities for growth.
You actively identify USPs based on your insights of the local students' needs for online higher education.
You continuously develop new hypotheses to increase the conversion rates within the different stages of the customer journey.
You implement initiatives by closely working with colleagues and teams in our international unit (e.g. Product Management, UX Design, Web, Content, Marketing, Sales) and between different units.
You identify and connect with local partners to increase IU's outreach and improve the value offering for prospective students.
You have a successfully completed university degree in education, business, sales & marketing, or a similar field.
You are born and have lived in South Africa or have a high proven expertise of the country.
You have experience in (strategic) marketing and you are familiar with leveraging different marketing channels.
You have previous experience with performance marketing and/or an analytical mind to base decisions on quantitative insight.
You ideally have experience in a role for international expansion, go-to-market strategy or related activities; experience with the local market for higher education in Africa is a big plus.
You have a track record of achieving results as a country manager, product owner or in a similar role.
You have a hands-on mentality to independently identify and overcome challenges.
You enjoy working in fast-pace environments and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
A high degree of reliability and diligence are important to you.
You enjoy working across units and to think customer-centric.
Your written and spoken English is business fluent.
